Tiger Woods’ TGR Foundation Celebrates 30th Anniversary with $50 Million Raised and a $20 Million Grant
Tiger Woods’ TGR Foundation has reached a major milestone, celebrating its 30th anniversary with a significant achievement – raising $50 million last year towards its education initiatives. The foundation’s mission is to support students from underserved communities in pursuing their goals through education. The celebration, which took place on January 14, 2026, at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, was attended by A-listers, including a performance by Jon Bon Jovi.
The event, titled “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” was presented by Ernst & Young (EY) and marked a significant moment for the foundation. Woods, who turned 50 just two weeks prior, was joined by Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank, who pledged a $20 million grant for a new TGR Learning Lab in Atlanta. This grant will enable the foundation to expand its reach and provide more opportunities for students in need.
TGR Foundation’s Impact and Mission
The TGR Foundation was established by Tiger Woods in 1996, with the goal of empowering students to pursue their passions through education. Over the years, the foundation has reached over 3 million kids and served more than 217,000 students since 2006. The foundation’s learning labs, which provide a supportive environment for students to learn and grow, have been instrumental in achieving this mission. The new learning lab in Atlanta will be the fifth location, with others already established in Anaheim, California, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Augusta, Georgia.
Woods’ commitment to education and community development is evident in his foundation’s work. As he stated, “Tonight was a reminder that the legacy I’m most proud of isn’t on the golf course; it’s the work we’ve done to positively impact the lives of students through TGR Foundation.” This dedication to giving back to the community has earned Woods immense respect and admiration from his peers, including Arthur Blank, who praised Woods’ leadership and purpose off the course.
Arthur Blank’s $20 Million Grant and Partnership
Arthur Blank’s $20 million grant is a significant contribution to the TGR Foundation, enabling the establishment of a new learning lab in Atlanta. Blank, who is on the PGA Tour board and owns the Atlanta Drive team, part of the high-tech indoor league TGL, has expressed his admiration for Woods’ work off the course. As Blank stated, “I have immense respect and admiration for Tiger, not only for his legendary career, but for the way he continues to lead with purpose off the course.” This partnership between the TGR Foundation and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation will have a profound impact on the community, providing opportunities for students to grow and develop.

As the TGR Foundation continues to expand its reach and impact, it is clear that the legacy of Tiger Woods extends far beyond his achievements on the golf course. His commitment to education and community development has inspired countless individuals, including Arthur Blank, to join him in making a positive difference in the lives of students and communities in need.
