Assetto Corsa EVO Receives Major Update with New Tracks and Cars
On December 11, 2025, Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games released the largest update yet for Assetto Corsa EVO, a racing simulation game currently in Early Access on PC. This significant update brings a plethora of new content, including ten vehicles and five racetracks, to further enhance the gaming experience. Notable additions include the iconic Temple of Speed, Italy’s Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, and the infamous Green Hell, Germany’s Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Both of these tracks have been meticulously laser-scanned to provide an authentic and accurate representation in the game, mirroring the real-world circuits. The Nürburgring Nordschleife, known for its challenging layout, can be driven in three different configurations, while the Nürburgring itself is available in two layouts. Similarly, Oulton Park Circuit offers two layouts, and Monza and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta are each available with one layout.
New Vehicles and Features
This update also marks a significant milestone with the introduction of a Formula 1 car to Assetto Corsa EVO. Players can now get behind the wheel of the Ferrari SF-25, driven by Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, and experience the thrill of Formula 1 racing. The game incorporates the Drag Reduction System (DRS) zones, allowing players to utilize the SF-25’s DRS at all F1 tracks, despite the system’s real-world retirement at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
In addition to the SF-25, several other vehicles have been added to the game, including the Ferrari F40 LM and Porsche Cayman 718 GTA 4 RS, which join the GT category. The road car category has been expanded with the inclusion of the BMW M3 (E46) CSL, BMW M8 Competition Coupé (F92), Ferrari Daytona SP3, two variants of the Mini John Cooper S, Peugeot 205 T16, Renault 5 GT Turbo, and two versions of the Toyota Supra Turbo RZ (MK IV).
Under the Hood Improvements
Beyond the new content, the update brings numerous improvements to the game’s mechanics. A new tire-damping model, revised grip model, and more detailed tire thermal simulation aim to enhance the overall driving experience. Furthermore, expanded cockpit settings, including electronic brake bias and differentials, provide players with more control and customization options.
With this substantial update, Assetto Corsa EVO continues to establish itself as a leading racing simulation game, offering an increasingly realistic and immersive experience for players. The addition of iconic tracks and vehicles, combined with under-the-hood improvements, solidifies the game’s position in the racing simulation genre.
