As the January transfer window approaches, several top clubs are making moves to strengthen their squads. Manchester United full back Diogo Dalot could be on his way out, with Real Madrid expressing interest in the 26-year-old. According to TEAMtalk, United’s director of football Jason Wilcox is considering letting Dalot leave, despite his contract running until 2028 with an option for another year. Real Madrid’s interest in Dalot is likely due to his versatility, as well as the age of their current right back, Dani Carvajal, who is 33.

Manchester City are keeping tabs on Tottenham Hotspur right back Pedro Porro, who is out of contract in 2028. City are looking for a new right back and have also shown interest in Newcastle United’s Tino Livramento. However, Spurs are willing to offer Porro a significant pay rise to keep him at the club. Meanwhile, Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is close to reaching an agreement with AC Milan, after Barcelona expressed doubts over signing him. Vlahovic’s wage demands of €12 million-a-season have been a major obstacle in negotiations.
Other rumors include Liverpool’s shortlist of potential replacements for Ibrahima Konate, which includes Stade Rennais’ Jeremy Jacquet, Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi, and Borussia Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck. Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is also being considered by Internazionale as a replacement for Yann Sommer. West Ham have added Norwich City and USMNT striker Josh Sargent to their list of options, while Fiorentina’s Albert Gudmundsson is among Roma’s options if they can’t sign Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee.

Two unnamed Premier League clubs are also monitoring Internazionale right back Denzel Dumfries, who has a €25 million release clause that is valid in July.
