As the 2026 season approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating the unveiling of the latest cars, which promise to be more agile and better suited for racing. To kick off the new season, the traditional “launch season” has been moved up, with several teams confirming their launch dates for January 2026.

Confirmed Launch Dates

Several teams have already announced their launch dates, giving fans a chance to mark their calendars. Here are the confirmed dates:

Red Bull and Racing Bulls: January 15, 2026, in Detroit, Michigan, will see the joint livery reveal and season launch of the Red Bull and Racing Bulls teams.

Audi: On January 20, 2026, Audi will unveil its team launch and livery reveal in Berlin, Germany.

Honda (power unit): Honda will launch its power unit for Aston Martin on January 20, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan.

Alpine: Although the details are still to be confirmed, Alpine is expected to reveal its car or livery on January 23, 2026, in Barcelona, Spain, ahead of the preseason testing.

Haas: Haas will unveil its livery on January 23, 2026, through an online reveal.

Cadillac: Cadillac’s livery reveal is scheduled for January 15, 2026, and will be showcased during a Super Bowl TV advert.

Aston Martin: Aston Martin’s joint livery reveal and season launch will take place on January 15, 2026, although the location is still to be confirmed.

Teams Yet to Confirm Launch Dates

Several teams, including McLaren, Mercedes, Ferrari, and Williams, have not yet announced their launch dates. Fans will need to keep an eye on official announcements and social media channels for updates on these teams’ plans.

Preseason Testing Dates

The preseason testing schedule has been confirmed, with the following dates and locations:

January 26-30: Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (behind closed doors)

February 11-13: Bahrain International Circuit

February 18-20: Bahrain International Circuit

As the 2026 Formula 1 season approaches, fans can expect a thrilling year of racing, with the new regulations and earlier launch dates building anticipation. With several teams already confirming their launch dates, the countdown to the new season has officially begun.
